You Should Get Your Running Gear at TranSports
TranSports continues to prove itself the most awesome running store, ever. The service and expertise are beyond fantastic. I just bought a pair of shoes there and after they filmed my stride in several pairs, I settled on some Asics. Because of their consistent excellence I plug them whenever I can.

Pictures from the Trail in Briones
My pal Tom, guitarist of the one and only god-king of metal Crysknife, kindly helped me with the beer stop on my easy, flat, seasonably mild trail yesterday in Briones and took lots of damn good photos too. You really should see them. Some of my favorites:

Drink Hoptimus Prime Beer
This is why I'm posting this here:
a) I probably drink the majority of my beer outside, during outdoor activities.
b) This blog is dedicated to things I enjoy for their own sake, in and of themselves.
c) Even though this is a West Coast outdoors blog I am from Pennsylvania.
d) Transformers are cool.
Therefore, drink Hoptimus Prime Beer.

Someone is Shooting Condors in Ventana
Why would someone do this? Really makes me angry. If you're hiking in the open sections of Ventana, keep your eyes open.

Marin Watershed Lands
I went out in Mt. Tam watershed lands yesterday and don't know why I never did before. Fantastic. Was time-constrained but didn't have a watch so I took my phone, and decided that if I was going to carry the damn thing the whole time, I might as well get some nice pitchers. I think I did. Enjoy.
